Meet Our Residents

Did you know pigs are the fifth smartest mammal? They also are curious, affectionate and each have a unique personality! Come visit and get to know them!

Spot

Spot is one of Selah's babies and he is so sweet, timid, and easy going. He is a kind and old soul.

Selah

Selah was our first pig resident and the mother of Spot, Maverick, Curious, Pinky and Massimo. She was spayed at 3-months old, but the spay was unsuccessful and we had surprise babies. This was the birth of our sanctuary. She was spunky, sassy and oh so sweet.

Massimo

This big boy is our gentle giant. He doesn't even know he is the largest of the group. He will come sit on your lab to say hello!

Maverick

Maverick is the only girl baby from Selah's litter. She is fearless, independent and can hold her own with her brothers. But she is also so sweet and fair. She is the leader of the group.

Pinky

Pinky is the baby of the group. He just loves everyone and everything! Especially belly rubs. He will be the first to greet you and give you a kiss.

Curious

Curious' name speaks for itself. He was always the most curious out of everyone even when he was a baby and that holds true today. He is a fearless adventurer and loves to explore new places. He also loves attention and gets jealous if he has to share your affections.

Orangie the Guard Cat

Orangie was abandoned when we moved the sanctuary to our new location. So she became part of the family. She watches out for all of her larger furry friends.

Motherly love

Pigs show affection through kissing, licking, snuggling, grunting, singing and more. Mothers and their daughters stay very closely connected. Maverick and Mama Selah are loving each other here.
